The four founders of FriendFeed have plans to make it a one stop shop for all your social networking updates and news items. The four founders were all team members at Google and helped to launch such products as Google Maps, Adsense, GMail and Google Groups. They’ve brought their expertise to a slightly different area: social network aggregating.

FriendFeed is a service which, instead of layering a meta-network on top of all your other social networks, will create a news feed incorporating them all much like the facebook news feed. It’s an idea that isn’t too difficult or bothersome for social network users to adopt.

Users tell the feed which networks they belong to (Facebook, Digg, Last.fm etc) and FriendFeed personalizes your data feed with info from each of the sites.

The Top 10 reasons why a handgun is better than a woman

#10 - You can trade an old .44 for two
new .22s.

#9 - You can keep one handgun at home and have another for

when you're on the road.

#8 - If you admire a friend's handgun, and tell him so, he

will probably let you try it out a few times.

#7 - Your primary handgun doesn't mind if you have a

backup.

#6 - Your handgun will stay with you even if you're out of

ammo.

#5 - A handgun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.

#4 - Handguns function normally every day of the month.

#3 - A handgun doesn't ask "Do these new grips make me look

fat?"

#2 - A handgun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you

use it.

AND THE NUMBER ONE WAY THAT A HANDGUN IS BETTER THAN A

WOMAN . . . You can buy a silencer for a handgun.

Did you tweet today??

James Karl Buck, a graduate student from the University of California-Berkeley, was in Mahalla, Egypt, covering an anti-government protest when he and his translator, Mohammed Maree, were arrested April 10.

On his way to the police station, Buck took out his cell phone and sent a message to his friends and contacts using the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The message only had one word. "Arrested."

Within seconds, colleagues in the United States and his blogger-friends in Egypt -- the same ones who had taught him the tool only a week earlier -- were alerted that he was being held.

Twitter is a social-networking blog site that allows users to send status updates, or "tweets," from cell phones, instant messaging services and Facebook in less than 140 characters.

The Founders state that "Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?"

We can find out about a person by just knowing what he is doing in a day!!
So Twitter is one great tool to do that!!!

happy tweets!!!!

The best ad i ever seen..

When the ad was pitched to senior executives, they signed off on it immediately without any hesitation - including the costs. There are six, and only six, hand-made Honda Accords in the world. To the horror of Honda engineers, the filmmakers disassembled two of them to make this film. There are no computer graphics or digital tricks in the film. Everything you see really happened in real time, exactly as you see it. The film took 606 takes. On the first 605 takes, something, usually very minor, didn't work. They would then have to set the whole thing up again. The crew spent weeks shooting night and day. By the time it was over, they were ready to change professions. The film cost six million dollars and took three months to complete including full engineering of the sequence. In addition, it is two minutes long so every time Honda airs the film on British television, they're shelling out enough dough to keep any one of us in clover for a lifetime. However, it is fast becoming the most downloaded advertisement in Internet history. Honda executives figure the ad will soon pay for itself simply in "free viewings" (Honda isn't paying a dime to have you watch this commercial!). Everything you see in the film (aside from the walls, floor, ramp and complete Honda Accord) is parts from those two cars. The voice-over is Garrison Keillor. When the ad was shown to Honda executives, they liked it and commented on how amazing computer graphics have gotten. They fell off their chairs when they found out it was for real... oh no J. And how about those funky windshield wipers...?? On the new Accords, the windshield wipers have water sensors and are designed to start doing their thing automatically... as soon as they become wet. It looks a bit weird in the commercial. At cost of $6.2 million for 90-sec commercial, this is world's costliest ad and hands down winner in the world of ads.

(my first blog which has a video!!!!)

Napolean Bonaparte's pyramid visit.

Napolean Bonaparte one of the great conquerors in the history is said to the most fearless.
But even this conqueror had some bad experiences.

Once after the conquest of Egypt, Napolean went for a visit to Pyramid Giza.
In the Pharoah's tomb He asked to be left alone in the Pharoah's tomb. When he emerged, it was reported that he looked visibly shaken. When an aide asked him if he had witnessed anything mysterious, he replied that he had no comment, and that he never wanted the incident mentioned again. Years later, when he was on his deathbed, a close friend asked him what really happened in the Pharoah's chamber. He was about to tell him and stopped. Then he shook his head and said, "No, what's the use. You'd never believe me." As far as we know, he never told anyone and took the secret to his grave.

Even Alexander the Great spent time in the Pharoah's tomb.

No one knows what drives these great conquerors o this tomb and what did Napolean saw till this date.
But we all know that Pyramids have a hundreds of mysteries which are yet to be solved.

I read this in a book named "Mysterious Events", i forgot the author's name.
